EDC catch-up matches in progress

The European Dota Championships has granted all teams one week's grace to finish off all remaining matches before resuming with Playweek 7.

As Garena has issued a stern warning urging all teams to finish up all delayed matches or face a possible ban from all future Garena-organized tournaments, the catch-up week might be their last chance to do so. Today the EDC features a titanic clash between MYM and SGC followed by another equally exciting match-up between SGC and Tribal.Int tomorrow.

16th January 2010
MYM	[0:0] (Matchticker)	SGC

MYM is seen struggling as of late following their recent losses against Mcity and BFB (now Blight.int). Even with Maelk back at the helm, they have found it difficult to secure solid victories in all major tournaments. Although MYM goes into the match with 1-0 record against SGC, this game is tipped to go either way as both teams have a history with each other and are aiming to set things right, proving themselves as a top team in Europe.

17th January 2010
SGC	[0:0] (Matchticker)	Tribal Gaming International

With a 1-0 victory over Tribal.int in the past, SGC will be looking for a repeat performance after losing previously to DTS.Chatrix and MYM. Meanwhile, Tribal.int will have to buck up following three consecutive losses against other European rivals if they are to achieve their title aspirations. Both teams are set to regain their winning form after a less than impressive run since the start of the year, but after this match there can only be one left standing. Will it be SGC or Tribal?

Demon: KuroKy is worst German flamer

Have you ever wondered why Demon goes under the name Miley in tournaments? Have you ever wondered what is it like to be in Blight.Int? Find all that in Demon's first blog post!

Have you ever wondered why Blight.Int player, Jimmy 'Demon' Ho goes under the name Miley occassionally? In his first ever blog post, the famous American star explains the reason behind his obsession with the actor of Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus.

Besides that, Demon also gave interesting description on his teammates to shed a little light behind the mask of Blight.Int. He ended his blog by saying that his blog will be 10x more entertaining than Kuro 'KuroKy' Salehi Takhasomi's blog.

Enjoy.

Excerpt of Demon's blog post:

Miley Cyrus is a unique individual. She's definitely one of the best youngest talent out there! Ohhh yesss I am also a huge fan of her and madly in love with her ooohyeahh! That's why I changed my name from Demon to Miley in the first place! :P Woohoo! I cannot wait til I see her live in concert, I've watched all her movies in theaters and she's AWESOME!

Kuroky- Probably the worst German flamer, bashing on the Amerikans all the time. He pronounces anything that starts with V with a W. For example(we always laugh when he says it)
Kky: "im going to make a wanguard"
Us: "you mean vanguard?"
kky: "its wannnngggguard morons"

Razer Imperiator Winner Announced On MyMyM

MYM is proud to announce a new sponsorship deal with Razer, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-end precision gaming and lifestyle electronic peripherals after a 2 year hiatus.

Sponsorships are the core to any successful eSports organization. Often enough, the strength and the stability of an eSports organization can be measured by the amount of sponsors the company has. After months of talks and countless meetings held, MYM is proud to present the world's leading gaming hardware manufacturer, Razer as our ally.

For years, Razer has been known for its authentic mouse range, that lifts a player's capability to play beyond belief. Starting out with the Boomslang, Razer made its comeback after a financial setback with its Diamondback and three years later, their multi-award winning Razer Lachesis mice.

With research and development actively going on, Razer has been releasing tonnes of other hardware items and is well on its way to dominate the gaming hardware industry.

The contract with Razer is the start for a long term relationship in which MYM and its players will do anything in order to act as a fair and reliable business partner. Our players are proud to be using Razer hardwares in both online and offline tournaments and start off 2010 with a big bang.

Statement Robert 'Razerguy' Krakoff, President of Razer:

"MYM has been proven time and again to be a deadly force to be reckoned with in the eSports scene. We look forward to working and co-developing our next generation of professional gaming hardware with MYM. As true hardcore gamers, MYM will help support and augment our goal of developing products and technology catered specifically for gamers."

Statement Dennis Nirtl, Head of Operations MYM:

"MYM is happy to welcome Razer as an important partner at our side. Both parties stand for absolutely high performance and further development. After going through countless other gaming hardware, we are sure that Razer is the best choice for hardcore and professional gamers like us. Our team mates have also been using Razer gear in the past in private practice to hone our shooting and movements - it has paid off handsomely. Now that we are equipped with the complete range of Razer arsenal at our disposal, we are 100% ready to face and take on any opposing teams who come and crosses our way."
