EDC catch-up matches in progress

The European Dota Championships has granted all teams one week's grace to finish off all remaining matches before resuming with Playweek 7.

As Garena has issued a stern warning urging all teams to finish up all delayed matches or face a possible ban from all future Garena-organized tournaments, the catch-up week might be their last chance to do so. Today the EDC features a titanic clash between MYM and SGC followed by another equally exciting match-up between SGC and Tribal.Int tomorrow.

MYM is seen struggling as of late following their recent losses against Mcity and BFB (now Blight.int). Even with Maelk back at the helm, they have found it difficult to secure solid victories in all major tournaments. Although MYM goes into the match with 1-0 record against SGC, this game is tipped to go either way as both teams have a history with each other and are aiming to set things right, proving themselves as a top team in Europe.

With a 1-0 victory over Tribal.int in the past, SGC will be looking for a repeat performance after losing previously to DTS.Chatrix and MYM. Meanwhile, Tribal.int will have to buck up following three consecutive losses against other European rivals if they are to achieve their title aspirations. Both teams are set to regain their winning form after a less than impressive run since the start of the year, but after this match there can only be one left standing. Will it be SGC or Tribal?

xx5 challenges new AEON.ru tonight

The new AEON.ru will be taking xx5 that is on a losing streak lately for European DotA Championship. The game will be starting at 20:00 CET and will be played in a best-of-two format.

The new roster of AEON.ru will be facing off with xx5 or formerly known as Victory Addicts for European DotA Championship today at 20:00 CET. The games will be played in a best-of-two format.

Just this morning, myMYM announced that AEON.ru has recently underwent a massive roster change with the addition of superstar, Nikola 'Azen' Beylakov, Jonathan 'Loda' Berg and Alexandr 'Santa' Koltan. The team now has a seven-man roster and till now, hours before the game, it is unknown what sort of crazy roster the Russians are gonna put up.

Besides that, AEON.ru has been performing relatively well coming into 2010 by beating MYM late yesterday in the same tournament. xx5 on the other hand has not been doing great with their games. The European mix is now on a three games losing streak perishing to Team Thermaltake, DTS and yesterday, The Shit!
